ALICE WALKER ÉS TONI MORRISON MŰVEI FORDÍTÁSAINAK ÖSSZEHASONLÍTÁSA ANGOL – MAGYAR - NÉMET- OROSZ PÁRHUZAMOS KORPUSZOK VIZSGÁLATÁNAK MÓDSZERÉVEL
THE COMPARISON OF THE TRANSLATIONS OF THE WORKS OF ALICE WALKER AND TONI MORRISON USING ENGLISH - HUNGARIAN – GERMAN - RUSSIAN PARALLEL CORPORA
Abstract
Tanulmányomban Alice Walker The Color Purple és Toni Morrison The Bluest Eye című irodalmi dialektusban írt angol nyelvű regényeiben ábrázolt dialektust és azok magyar, német és orosz fordításait vizsgálom párhuzamos korpuszok vizsgálatának módszerével kultúr- és genderspecifikus szempontból. Az korpuszokat manuálisan illesztettem és annotáltam. Így reprezentatív és kiegyensúlyozott korpuszokat kaptam, amelyeken mind minőségi, mind mennyiségi elemzéseket tudtam végezni.
This paper intends to examine the translations of Alice Walker’s novel, The Color Purple and Toni Morrison’s novel, The Bluest Eye from the perspective of dialect representation on the basis of English – Hungarian – German – Russian parallel corpora from the point of view of culture and gender. I aligned and tagged the corpora manually and received a representative and well-balanced corpus in which I carried out both a qualitative and a quantitative research.
